Chemical Residue and Allergen Testing in and on Food Products for Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)

Summary

Analytical laboratory services to test chemical contaminants and allergens in foods, food crops and animal tissues for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency across Canada. Multiple contracts will be awarded; two parts: Part A (seven commodity groups) and Part B (24 testing programs). Bidders may offer on one or multiple food groups and/or testing programs.

AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and Buyandsell posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by 2026-09-09 at 2 p.m. EST. All bids submitted after 2 p.m. EST will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. This solicitation is for the requirement of analytical and laboratory services for the testing of chemical contaminants and/or allergens in foods, food crops, and tissues of food animals for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Multiple contracts will be established as a result of this solicitation. The requirement is divided into two distinct parts. Part A: Categorized by commodity/food group for a total of 7 food groups (Dairy, Eggs, Fish & Seafood, Fresh Fruit & Vegetables, Honey, Meat, and Processed Products). Part B: Categorized by testing programs for a total of 24 programs (including 3-MCPD, Arsenic, BPA, Alternaria, Benzopyrene, etc.). An Offeror may submit an offer for one or multiple food groups in Part A and/or for one or more testing programs in Part B. Contracts awarded to bidders for multiple food groups and/or programs will be consolidated into a single contract.
