To ensure the Province remains in a constant state of preparedness regarding wildfire pre-suppression, and suppression activities, ongoing crew member firetack training will be required on an “as-needed” basis, with no guarantees of work. Training will take place over five (5) days with one (1) training provider being required for every twenty-four (24) participants in a classroom environment and one (1) training provider for every eight (8) participants in a field/lab environment. Firetack training may be required throughout Alberta in any of the following forest areas: • Calgary Forest Area • Edson Forest Area • Grande Prairie Forest Area • High Level Forest Area • Lac La Biche Forest Area • Fort McMurray Forest Area • Peace River Forest Area • Rocky Mountain House Forest Area • Slave Lake Forest Area • Whitecourt Forest Area
