From the notice
This Request for Bids (“RFB”) is issued by His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by the Solicitor General (the “Ministry”). The Ministry seeking to enter into an Agreement with a qualified Vendor(s) to Design, Build and Delivery the following fire trucks (“Trucks”): a) Mini Pumper (Appendix A); b) Pumper Tanker (Appendix B); and c) Rescue Pumper (Appendix C). Scope of Work The Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) oversees the unique, government-run program known as the Northern Fire Protection Program (NFPP). As part of this program, the Ministry supplies fire trucks for use by volunteer firefighters who are members of NFPP fire departments. The trucks are used to transport firefighters safely, equipment for rescue, and firefighting operations, and other emergency responses, and to pump water for firefighting purposes.
