From the notice
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (“Legislative Assembly” or “Owner”) wishes to retain the services of a general contractor (“Contractor”) to install security enhancements in relation to vehicular access to the Legislative Precinct. Phase 1 of this project is complete. The Project is now opening to subsequent phase(s) for work on Menzies Street along side and across the street from the Legislative Precinct. Scope of the security enhancement installation in this RFP includes: •Reinforced concrete walls •Fixed and retractable bollards •Stone pavers and concrete paving on sidewalks and driveways •Non-mountable concrete curb bulges, including at the corners of Quebec Street and Kingston Street •Traffic islands near the corners of Quebec Street and Kingston Street Proponents who wish to participate in this tender competition must attend the mandatory Site Tour: Date and time: June 23, 2026 at 11 a.m. Location: 421 Menzies Street by the green awning Registration is required
