Replace Metal Soffits

Summary

Removal and replacement of metal soffits for BGIS-managed buildings across the National Capital Region (Ontario). Contractor to supply labour, materials, equipment, scaffolding (certified), and certified electrical work; work may occur after hours; bilingual signage and minimum two-week notice for closures required.

From the notice

The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, and services required to complete the work as described within all associated procurement documents and as shown on the project drawings and indicated within both the Architectural and Electrical drawings and Specifications. All work can be done after hours, or during regular business hours, Monday to Friday. Day work is only permitted if the work is not disruptive to the operation of the building or its occupants. Scaffolding, if used, must be certified, and comply with all applicable safety standards. All electrical work must be certified. The contractor must ensure that access to the building is not obstructed and proper signage in both English and French will be required. Any closures will require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice for the client.
