The Corporation of Delta seeks a consultant to manually monitor water levels in Burns Bog, Delta, British Columbia: visit 35 monitoring wells every four weeks in 2027 (with up to two one-year renewal options), record depth-to-water and stickup, enter data into City Excel and deliver datasets after each session. The City of Delta is looking to hire a consultant to measure water levels in Burns Bog for a period of one year with options to renew for up to two additional years. Scope of Work 1. Manually measure all 35 monitoring stations every four weeks from early January 2027 through December 2027. Record depth to water table (depth below ground surface) and monitoring well stickups in metres, as well as date and time, for each monitoring well. 2. Enter monitoring data into an Excel spreadsheet provided by the City of Delta. A written report is not required. The data shall be provided to the City of Delta after each monitoring session (i.e. every four weeks). 3. Optional item: Manual measurements at 6 additional stations. Downloading data from these 6 stations and emailing data to City staff. Cutting of blackberry as needed to access stations.
