The City of New Westminster invites tenders for the Active Transportation Network Plan (ATNP) Year 2 Projects project in New Westminster, BC. The work generally consists of: London Street / Dublin Street (23rd Street to 8th Street): active transportation improvements consisting of traffic diversion installation, signage installation, concrete curb and sidewalks, installation of speed humps, street lighting upgrades, and 160 lineal metres of quick build protected bike lanes on Eighth Street. Eighth, Ninth, Tenth Streets (London Street to Columbia Street): Active transportation improvements consisting of sidewalk widening, asphalt pathway installation at Moody Park, installation of speed cushions, installation of quick build traffic calming features, tree removals and protection, street furnishings, relocation of irrigation, quick build protected bike lanes, and signal and electrical street lighting upgrades.
