From the notice
The successful vendor will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire apparatus Services include, but are not limited to: • Maintenance and repairs as detailed in the work order • Pump testing in accordance with current NFPA standards. • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) for trucks • Aerial device inspections, maintenance and certifications as per manufacturer recommendations and NFPA for Non-destructive testing. • Other repair work as required will be quoted at the time of need. • All inspections and certifications as per NFPA standards. • Pick-up and delivery of units from CFD premises to Suppliers premises. • Call out coverage after hours and weekends and Statutory holidays. • There is no guarantee of the amount of work as this is overflow from our inhouse maintenance. • The City retains sole discretion to perform work internally, to assign work to qualified vendors or to not assign work at all.
