90.26.06-02 Kapoor Main Mile 1 Asphalt Upgrade

Summary

Capital Regional District (British Columbia) seeks contractors to upgrade Kapoor Main Mile 1: subgrade preparation and granular base (if required), chip seal 550 m × 5 m (2750 m²), asphalt bridge approaches (5 m × 5 m both sides), traffic control and environmental protection. Non-mandatory site meeting July 17, 2026; follow-on work may be awarded.

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: Subgrade preparation and granular base placement (if deemed required), Chip sealing surface treatment 550m long, 5m (2750m2), Asphalting bridge approaches (5m long and 5m wide at both sides of the bridge), traffic control and environmental protection. Proponents may be awarded follow-on work without a competition. A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held at 2995 Sooke Lake Road at 10:00am, July 17, 2026. CRD staff will escort the Tenderers to the project site. Tenderers will require their own vehicles capable of safely travelling on steep and winding roads. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
