Operation and provision of an Optical Retail and Dispensary at SAIT’s Taylor Family Campus Centre in Alberta. Proponents must deliver vision care and retail dispensing services for SAIT students, staff and the surrounding community while supporting academic goals (WIL, practicums, student collaboration).

SAIT is inviting experienced and qualified Proponents specializing in vision care services to submit Proposals for the operation of the Optical Retail and Dispensary, a component of the integrated health and wellness services operating within the TFCC. The proposed solution must address the needs of SAIT students, staff, and members of the surrounding community, while also supporting SAIT’s academic objectives and maintaining operational sustainability, efficiency, and effectiveness. Academic requirements include, without limitation. WIL opportunities and may include collaboration with students on relevant capstone projects, providing student access to the Optical Retail and Dispensary and to the successful Proponent’s employees and contractors for observations and tours, and facilitating student practicum placements across the various service areas operated within the Optical Retail and Dispensary,
