SOW includes but not limited to: The project is to provide consulting services for handrail replacement and related accessibility upgrades at the Douglas Jung Building. The Consultant shall review the Accessibility Audit and BMP/site review report, complete a site review, and verify existing handrail/guardrail locations, quantities, deterioration, corrosion, weakened base connections, anchorage concerns, and related accessibility or safety deficiencies. The scope includes interior handrails, exterior handrails, rooftop/guardrail locations, and handrail-related recommendations identified in the Accessibility Audit. The Consultant shall confirm applicable code, accessibility, and safety requirements, including CSA B651-23 where applicable, and prepare drawings, specifications, Class estimate, tender documents, and provide tender support and construction administration services. The Consultant shall also identify any requirements related to rooftop work, fall protection, hot work, hazardous materials, building operations, and construction phasing.
