From the notice

The purpose of this project is to complete an Arc Flash Hazard Assessment Study. An arc flash occurs when electrical current suddenly arcs through the air between two conductors, creating a potential workplace hazard. This study will analyze the risk of an arc flash occurring in relation to the building's electrical equipment, with the overall objective of significantly reducing the likelihood of such incidents. The Consultant will complete an Arc Flash Hazard Assessment Study, including: · Short Circuit Evaluation · Protective Device Interrupting Evaluation · Coordination Study and Recommended Protective Device Settings · Verification of existing arc flash labels and replacement or installation of new labels, as required. All labels are to be affixed to the applicable electrical equipment. Testing and labelling shall be completed in accordance with all applicable codes and standards for Arc Flash Labelling.
