Summary
BGIS seeks a structural engineer and contractor to design and install turret supports (bracing) in the northeast turret of the central tower of the Connaught building in the National Capital Region. Previous bracing in the southwest turret has improved stability and will inform this work.
From the notice
The intent of this project is to have a qualified Structural Engineer design appropriate turret supports and to have a contractor install those supports in the Northeast turret of the central tower. Bracing has been previously installed in the Southwest turret and ongoing monitoring and testing has demonstrated that the bracing has increased the stability of the turret.
