This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Village of Nakusp (the “Village”) to prospective Respondents to submit Proposals for the supply of Ultraviolet (UV) System Reactors (the “Project”) MANDATORY SCOPE OF WORK The mandatory scope of work, includes, but is not limited to Supply of two new UV disinfection reactors to replace the existing units. Work includes supply and delivery of the two UV reactors. Configuration of equipment based on design peak hour flow rate; Supply new control panel(s); Supply of new intensity monitoring devices; Provision of experience references of recent comparable installations; Guaranteed supply date for UV reactors; Supply of Spare parts; Preparation of application to Interior Health as needed; Provision of Technical support during installation and commissioning. OPTIONAL SCOPE OF WORK The optional scope of work for which pricing is requested includes: Installation of UV System by qualified, experienced installers; Optional quote includes removal, disposal of existing UV reactor and electrical panel utilizing environmentally safe procedures in conformance with WorkSafe practices and requirements for disposal; Work must be performed on one process train at a time, one train of the WTP UV disinfection process must remain operational at all times; Must maintain regulatory compliance with no disruption to UV treatment; Work to be performed during staff work hours of 7am to 3:30pm; Operation of all UV systems must be confirmed at time of installation; and Provision of installation date for UV reactors.
