The District of North Vancouver (the “District”) is seeking a qualified service provider to complete a comprehensive sidewalk inspection and a network condition assessment of approximately 200 kilometres of sidewalk infrastructure located within our municipal boundaries, and to repair locations identified as highest priority. The purpose of this project is to: Develop a current, defensible condition inventory of sidewalk assets; Identify defects impacting safety, accessibility, and serviceability; Integrate assessment data into the District’s asset management and GIS systems; Support short-term trip hazard repair work planning; Support long-term capital planning and lifecycle management; and Complete priority repair work.
