PCL\ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM) are inviting Bidders to submit their Expression of Interest to bid on the supply and installation of Lamella Ceiling systems of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. The project is located at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. This is the first phase of a three-phase procurement process: Phase One – Request for Expression of Interest (REI), posted on MERX™ publicly to seek Respondents with experience in the supply and installation of Lamella Ceiling Systems. Phase Two – Request for Qualification (RFQ), will be issued to all who responded to the REI and is intended to pre-qualify Bidders with the necessary experience in the supply and installation of lamella ceiling systems, including any required coordination, detailing, and execution necessary to achieve the completed ceiling assembly in accordance with the design intent and project requirement. Phase Three – Invitation to Bid (RFP) Invitations to Bid will be sent to those bidders who pass the requirements defined in the RFQ. This (REI) document sets out the requirements for the submission of the Bidder’s Expression of Interest and specifies the Bidder eligibility requirements that must be met to proceed to the RFQ and RFP phases. Should there be an insufficient number of prequalified Respondents after Phase Two to permit a competition in Phase Three, the CM reserves the right to cancel Phase Three or to modify the Phase Two requirements and re-publish the solicitation using the same or a different approach. The Scope of Services of this REI shall be for: The complete supply and installation of custom lamella ceiling systems for Centre Block and the Parliamentary Welcome Centre (PWC), including areas incorporating curved geometry, as indicated in the documents. This includes, but not limited to, the preparation of shop drawings, mock-ups and samples as required, coordination of layouts, profile, finishes and interfaces with adjacent materials, and the fabrication, supply and installation of all components required to achieve the completed ceiling assemblies as shown on the documents
