Summary

Design and implement a secure, bilingual digital platform for AIC appraisal forms used by Members nationwide to complete residential appraisal and mortgage reports and submit to lenders, regulators and other stakeholders. Platform must meet OSFI and PIPEDA security/privacy standards, be scalable for national adoption (~5,000 members), and include support and maintenance.

The Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals to design and implement a secure, digital platform for the AIC Forms, to be used by Members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) when completing residential appraisal assignments, mortgage forms and submitting reports to relevant third parties, including lenders, regulators, and other authorized stakeholders and for other uses and users. The intent is to develop this Forms platform in response to this RFP. The platform must meet the security, privacy, and data standards required by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) and the national standards for security, privacy, and data protection (PIPEDA), support full bilingual functionality (English and French), and be scalable to support national adoption across AIC’s membership base (over 5,000 members across the country). It must provide an intuitive, efficient user experience for AIC members, including appropriate support and maintenance capabilities, and be designed to evolve over time to reflect changes in professional standards, regulatory requirements, technology requirements and market needs.
