The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (the “College”) is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive review of best practices in competency assessment to support the evolution of our Quality Assurance (QA) program. This review will provide the Board of Directors with evidence informed advice and practical recommendations regarding the future design of the QA program, including whether to enhance the current model or develop a new innovative approach. This work will focus on identifying best practices in post licensure competency assessment and professional learning for regulated health care professionals, with recommendations tailored to the Ontario regulatory context and our legal requirements.
