The Scope of Services of this prequalification package is for the Conservation, Restoration and Replication of Historic Plasterwork. As part of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, we require a Subcontractor(s) who possesses the skills, experience, and knowledge of Conservation, Restoration and Replication of Historic Plasterwork. Proponents, please note all reinstatement work must be performed by union workers as noted further in this Request for Qualifications. This singular prequalification call will be for various packages including, but not limited to, the packages listed below: TP09H - Conservation, Restoration and Replication of Historic Plasterwork: Conservation of in-situ plaster elements inclusive of: Flat plaster: Plaster that is plain, flat having a single surface without ornamentation or moulded runs. May occur as part of a decorative and moulded overall pattern or as a plain field. Flat plaster may be directly bonded to a structural substrate or suspended via framework, which is anchored to a structural element. Run and moulded plaster profiles: Plaster having various profiles both run straight through, and / or having returns, stops and transitions, including internal and external mitres. Typically, to transition between surfaces or for decoration. Sections may include cast applique runs that are bonded to a plaster substrate or built-up and moulded in-situ. Decorative Plaster: Includes low-relief to high-relief cast or carved elements. X Typically, ornate with complex detailing that is geometric and naturalistic. Elements may include cast ornamentation applique that are bonded to a plaster substrate or built up and carved in-situ. Fabrication and installation of run/moulded and decorative plaster elements from 3D scans and master moulds inclusive of but not limited to: Pediments Cornices Tympanum Spandrels Arches Pilasters Installation of traditional plaster on varying substrates inclusive of but not limited to: Terracotta Brick Modern construction assemblies Modifying in-situ heritage plaster to receive building upgrades inclusive of but not limited: MEP infrastructure Seismic restraints Security upgrades Acoustic upgrades
