Summary

CreateTO (on behalf of the City of Toronto) seeks an Event Venue Feasibility Study for Old City Hall (60 Queen St W, Toronto). The consultant will assess market demand, supply gaps and feasibility of incorporating event uses into a future mixed-use redevelopment, collaborating with City staff and stakeholders for a 2027 Council report.

From the notice

CreateTO is supporting the City of Toronto in the development of a strategy for the long-term use of the City’s Old City Hall, located at 60 Queen Street West. A real estate analysis study has generated preliminary ideas for the future use of OCH. Event venues are being evaluated alongside other potential uses as part of a future mixed-use complex. The successful proponent will collaborate closely with CreateTO, City staff, project stakeholders, and other consultants to provide an Event Venue Feasibility Study. As part of that work, we are seeking to understand the market demand, supply gaps, and feasibility of incorporating event uses into the building program of OCH. This work will contribute to CreateTO’s report back to City Council in 2027.
