Assiniboine College is undertaking the renovation of the former Heavy-Duty Shop at the Victoria Ave East Campus in Brandon, Mb. to accommodate the new MLT/CLXT program, associated laboratories, and other multi-purpose instructional areas. Assiniboine College will utilize its Campus Development department to serve as construction manager for this project and is seeking qualified Trade Contractors and Suppliers to provide fixed bid pricing for the scopes of work below, including but not limited to: Demolition Concrete Masonry Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Metals Rough & Finish Carpentry and Woodwork Insulation and Vapour Barriers (except roofing works) Metal cladding and Furring Roofing and flashings Firestopping and Joint Sealants Doors, Frames, and Hardware, Identification and related glass works Aluminum Curtain walls, doors, glazing, and skylights Interior systems, ceilings, and acoustic treatments Ceramic tiling Flooring: Wood Flooring, Resilient Flooring and Carpets Painting Misc. Hardware: toilet partitions, bathroom hardware, wall/corner protections, etc. Interior glazed partitions Motorized window blinds Laboratory Casework Plumbing, Heating & HVAC Fire protection Electrical Security Audio-visual Trade Contractor bids shall include all labour, material, and equipment as per the Project Drawings and related Specification Sections.
