Marine Atlantic Inc. Invitation to Tender 317-171-026 / 262479.08 NSY Layup Dock Crib Joint Repair Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the NSY Layup Dock Crib Joint Repair Project. The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal at North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Excavation of materials within the crib joint at sinkhole location, to elevation as shown on the contract drawings. Removal of existing ladder installed at the crib joint, and removal of marine growth along the height of the crib joint. Removal and disposal of concrete on the key wall to the extent shown on the contract drawings. Existing reinforcing bars are to be cleaned of rust, scale and debris prior to placement of new concrete. Installation of new concrete repair to the existing key wall at the crib joint. Form and install new key at back of key wall to the elevations shown on the contract drawings. Backfill materials to elevations to match existing conditions, complete with asphalt paving. Installation of joint repairs at the crib joints. Installation of new galvanized ladder. Submittals: Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan. Preparation and submission of a Project Execution Methodology. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Le projet est situé au terminal de traversier de Marine Atlantique à North Sydney, en Nouvelle-Écosse. L’excavation des matériaux présents au niveau du joint à l’emplacement de la descente, jusqu’à la marque indiquée sur les plans fournis avec le contrat. Démontage de l’échelle existante installée au niveau du joint, et élimination des organismes marins présents sur toute la hauteur de la structure. Enlèvement et mise au rebut du béton du mur de soutènement, dans les limites indiquées sur les plans fournis avec le contrat. Les barres de renforcement existantes doivent être débarrassées de toute rouille, de tout calcaire et de tout débris avant que le nouveau béton soit installé. Réalisation des travaux de réparation du béton sur le mur porteur existant au niveau du joint. Réalisation et pose d’une nouvelle structure de soutènement à l’arrière du porteur, jusqu’aux marques indiquées sur les plans joints au contrat. Remblayage jusqu’au niveau existant, puis pose d’un revêtement en asphalte. Réparation des joints au niveau de la structure. Installation d’une nouvelle échelle galvanisée. Documents à soumettre : Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un calendrier approuvé des travaux. Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un plan de sécurité approuvé spécifique au site. Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un plan de protection approuvé de l’environnement spécifique au site. Préparation et soumission d’une méthodologie d’exécution du projet.
