Work includes partial-depth asphalt milling and overlay, shoulder restoration, topsoil stripping, earthworks, subgrade and granular base placement/compaction, asphalt surfacing, and a provisional larger expansion.

From the notice

The Cariboo Regional District is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate the existing Apron and Taxiway pavement, and expand the apron pavement surface at the Anahim Lake Airport. The main works are separated in two (2) main scopes: A. Pavement Rehabilitation: Partial depth asphalt pavement milling and asphalt overlay to restore original grades, and restoration of affected shoulder and edge areas. B. Partial Apron Expansion: Topsoil stripping, earthworks and grading, subgrade preparation, granular subbase and base placement and compaction, surface course asphalt placement, grading of shoulder areas, and restoration of all affected work areas. A Provisional scope is also provided to achieve a larger apron expansion area: C. PROVISIONAL – Remaining Buildout to Full Apron Expansion: Topsoil stripping, earthworks and grading, subgrade preparation, granular subbase and base placement and compaction, surface course asphalt placement, grading of shoulder areas, and restoration of all affected work areas.
