Description of Procurement The primary objective of this Request for Proposals is to retain a mechanical contractor to replace the existing chiller serving the data centres in the following building: ● Podium Building (POD) located at 350 Victoria Street, Toronto; and The work will include, but not be limited to, the following: ● Replacement of existing chiller on the roof of POD Building, and the installation of new equipment and replacement of other components in connection with the chiller as per drawings and specifications. The University intends to execute CCDC2-2020 Stipulated Sum agreement as amended by the Supplementary Conditions. Conditions for Participation The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Mandatory Submission Requirements File #1 Proposal Acknowledgement Form - Pass/Fail Minimum Passing Score The Minimum Passing Score for Stage 2: Technical is 42 Points out of 60 Points. Applicable Trade Agreements This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s): BPS Procurement Directive The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9 Contract Details The term of the Final Agreement is approximately twenty-four (24) months or the completion of the project, whichever is longer, followed by the warranty period. The substantial completion of the project is expected to be on or before September 2028.
