RRC Polytech, on behalf of the national Labs4 network, invites proposals from qualified consultants/contractors to refresh and expand AI-enabled training content across Labs4 programming—specifically the Technology Readiness Level Up (TRL) and Market to Labs (MtL) programs—and to develop a new, differentiated branded program focused on AI for R&D commercialization and product development. This initiative seeks to: Advance timely development of differentiated Labs4 AI programming focused on commercialization, technology readiness, and product development, through development of new programming and updates to existing programming, and Ensure a clear plan to mitigate content obsolescence through an update/refresh mechanism. The selected partner will work with the Labs4 network to produce practical, execution-oriented content and enablement assets that can be delivered consistently across institutions. The primary objective is to develop and operationalize AI-enabled training content that strengthens Labs4’s differentiated value proposition: AI for R&D commercialization, technology readiness advancement, and product development, usable across Labs4 institutions and adaptable for broader SME/startup and applied R&D audiences. The engagement must deliver: 4 updated core TRL modules with refreshed AI integration 1–2 new MtL modules adapted for MtL audiences (e.g., managing a team, strategy, commercialization execution support) A new differentiated branded program for AI for R&D commercialization aligned with TRL advancement/product development (not necessarily embedded in the existing TRL structure) Program Manager training across updated and new content, including a standardized facilitation approach A non-obsolescence framework and update mechanism (maintenance, refresh cycles, versioning) Communications & positioning assets showcasing the journey of Labs4 incorporating AI through its programming Packaging/operationalization of content into a reusable training product (e.g., SCORM package or equivalent) for institutional deployment and potential micro-credential pathways.
