This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by Simon Fraser University (“SFU”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements.This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by Simon Fraser University (“SFU”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Interested firms are invited to submit the information requested in this RFI. The responses will assist the university in assessing market capabilities, evaluating supplier interest, and refining the requirements and procurement strategy for a potential second-stage invitational Request for Proposals (RFP). Campus Public Safety (CPS) is part of Safety & Risk Services and is responsible for supporting the University's teaching, research and community engagement through the delivery of public safety, security, emergency response, physical security, resource protection and risk mitigation services. SFU currently operates a hybrid service delivery model combining University leadership, governance and oversight with contracted security professionals. The contracted security provider operates under the strategic direction of Campus Public Safety and works as an integrated component of the University's overall safety and emergency management program.
